General

Stats:

In the maps, the white spot represents where you fell from a higher floor.

Remember to save basically every time you get to a new floor or do something important like flip a switch.

Go to the Gym, talk to the owner to begin your training. Say YES. Then cutscene begins. Choose:

Complete the Virtuals - fight Kobold:

Have Pixie join you and grab chest with 400 Macca. Then head downstairs.

Take two steps and Ain’s event will trigger. Choose:

Switch Ain and the Hero’s weapons. Re-enter the Underground and go down.

Grab the 400MAG chest (1).

Enemies:

Chon Chon give the most money so always kill them but be careful.

Grab Dis-Stone (1) and INT Incense (2).

Grab STR Incense and press the Red switch. Press the Green Switch.

Use STR Incense on Hero and the INT Incense on Ain. Summon Pixie.

Fight Kobold:

Heal with Pixie if needed otherwise return the Pixie immediately after.

Backtrack to the terminal in B2F, fighting enemies on the way. Make sure to have Knocker recruited.

Go up to B1F and buy at least 2x Mudoon item (ノロイの木馬 160macca) (320 macca total).

Go to the Gym. Summon Knocker in front of the Virtuals and save.

Complete the virtuals - escape from encounters with Trafuri and fight Garum:

Head to the East Section of the Underground. If Knocker died, heal him at the Messian on the way.

Fall down.

Watch Ain Event. Grab VIT Incense (1) then press the Blue Switch, grab the Disc and bookmark the terminal.

Continue on in the dungeon to grab Luck Incense (2) and Megidola Stone (3), remember to save often. Take the stairs and fall back down to return to the terminal.

Transfer to Valhalla and sell the Megidola stone and any item drops you might’ve somehow gotten. Then transfer to the Underground to go to the Gaia to prepare for the grind. Strat goes like this:

Make sure to have at least 1760 macca saved up by the end.

Once the grind is over, transfer to Valhalla, stop by the store and buy the Kaizer Armor (1200 macca) for the Protagonist. Go to the colosseum, AUTO Sword.

Stop by the Messian Church and buy 2x Hama Items (middle one 260 macca).

Go to Virtuals, summon Knocker and save:

Transfer to the underground and go to B1F to access the South Section.

Make sure to save regularly. Talk to the demons to escape battles.

Grab MAG Incense (1) and use MAG and Luck Incense on Heroine and VIT Incense on Hero.

Grab Core Shield. Head to B4F for the Blue switch.

Equip Rocket Hammer and get Disc 3. Then backtrack to B4F.

Buy a bunch of ノロイの木馬 and Grind to level 15 on both characters.

Shop (need 6000):

If by the time they’re both level 15 you still don’t have both Helms that’s fine, just make sure the Heroine has hers. Backtrack up to the terminal.

Grab SPD Incense.

Now there’s two options:

More Fusions, More Recruitments (Option 1)

Transfer to East Section. Recruit a Kinnari, Ihika and Jack Lantern/Jack Frost, while grinding some money.

Go to South Section B1F through the Underground, recruit an Angel (14). Jack Lantern/Jack Frost also spawn here.

Walk to the fusion mansion in the underground, fuse:

Harder Recruitments (Option 2)

Transfer to the Underground and walk to South Section, recruit an Angel (14), Hag (15) and a Jack Lantern (9?) / Jack Frost (8?). You can kill some enemies for EXP or money here by buying some ノロイの木馬 from the Gaia close by. Most enemies are probably not so worth it to kill - except for Gagison as he drops decent money. You can escape from the encounters of this area.

After getting all the recruits, walk back to Underground B2F and transfer to South Section and walk back to the shop in B4F. Buy more ノロイの木馬, a Megidola Stone and grind levels and money until you can buy (in this order):

Summon Hag and Angel to help you in the fights. Hero and Heroine throw the items, Hag uses Mudo. Angel uses Hama if its a reasonable number of Lilims, most other enemies resist Hama. Once you have the gun, you can shoot everything down.

Fights:

Once you hit level 18, recruit a Ocypete!

Once you’ve bought everything, walk back to the terminal.

Head to the Colosseum, fight round 2 by autoing sword - make sure you equipped the Rocket Hammer.

Head to the Virtuals. Gun everything that corners you, otherwise run - you can’t run from Celeanos. Fight Ogre:

Transfer to the Underground and stop by the mansion.

(Option 1) Fuse:

(Option 2) Alternatively, if you really couldn’t find an Ocyupete or Jack Lantern, recruit a Celeano once you’re level 22.

Head to B2F and walk to the door to the West Section.

You’re gonna slowly grind to level 30 now. Defeat Gurr with gun and trafuri from everything else until you get the later items, unless you’re low on money and want some right away.

Grab Yakuto Glove (1) and Yakuto Armor (2). Equip Yakuto Armor on MC and give Kaizer Armor to the Heroine.

Then grab the 1024 Macca (3) and head back to the pit to fall.

Grab the Reiki Sword (1).

Fuse (requires lvl21):

Grab Chakra Pot (4).

Grab 4800 Macca (2).

Grab disc.

Grab sword (1) and walk to the store.

Stop by the shop and sell the Yakuto Gloves and some extra items if needed and buy:

(Optional) Grab Jewel.

Make sure you’re level 22 and you have fused Celeano. Transfer to Downtown.

Go to Colosseum, fight (AUTO). Make sure you summon Celeano here (!).

Say 戦うならオレが. Fight Ramedo:

Go to Virtuals 4, kill Aeros and Gurr with guns, trafuri everything else.

Fight Black Widow:

North Section

Transfer to the Underground and go to B3F to go to the North Section.

Defeat most enemies with Gun + Hikoubari. Jins are extra annoying so beware. Defeat with Gun: Zealator

Make sure Celeano does NOT die. You can’t resummon it.

Go through warps downstairs. Grab 2000 Macca (1).

Fall down the pit.

Grind close to the store for enough money to buy the Panzer Suit (30000) and Panzer Legs (18000).

Head to the passage to South B5F and climb back to B3F to go to the terminal and transfer to the Underground to heal at the Gaia then go to Downtown.

Go to the Shop and buy:

Go to colosseum.

Pick up items -> this is referencing the location of the items in SMT2, if you haven’t played/run SMT2 this will make no sense -> (2nd, 5th Slicer, Desert Eagle) <- and fight Adonis:

You can sell some items now to afford some smoke bombs. Really make sure to have a handful.

Virtuals 5. Be careful with some encounters, go for Gun + Trafuri by default. 6x Jin use a smoke bomb and Oyamatsumi resists Gun so if he shows up after a door, you’re basically stuck if you’re out of Hikobaris.

Be careful to not let Celeano die too early because if you’re chaos you won’t be able to resummon it. If he dies, just fight the encounters and try to run away when possible. Dangerous fights use a smoke bomb.

If he runs out of MP, use a Soma. Don’t let him get under 30 MP, this is extremely important for the last boss fight.

Fight Tarrasque:

Go to Colosseum. Pick up items (1st and 4th) and fight Okamoto:

At the Gym talk to everyone and then go back to the room next to the owner to talk to Ain. Then re-enter that room for the Temple Knight scene.

Choose:

Talk to the Young Man, Moss and the Man and then head into the Bar.

Talk to the Man, Young Woman, and Worker at the Bar then return to the Gym, choose:

Enter the Gym and go to the room where Ain was to receive the invitation from the Madame. Then go to the Madame.

Choose any option at Madame. Then go back to the Gym to the Trainer’s room and watch the event.

South Section B1F

Transfer to the Underground, stop by the Gaian:

Go to South Section B1F to head to the Prison.

Talk to the demons in the dark areas.

Blue line, press green switch and turn around, orange line, warp zone, orange line, press red switch.

Follow the yellow line.

Press the red switch then press the blue switch then go upstairs.

Grab Soma (3).

Go to the center to fight Ramedo:

Get the ID and go fall down to rescue Ain.

Back in town, fight the Zelator:

Go to Moss’ place, watch the event. Go to Madame’s place.

Walk to the terminal in the underground.

Optional Below - Better Sword Fusion

You can beat the game with the first sword you fused, but it’s quite difficult. The sword below misses less and hits 2-3 times.

Transfer to East Section and recruit an Ihika.

Transfer to West Section and go up to B3F.

Walk around until you recruit an Orthrus (26).

Fuse Sword:

Equip the sword, go back to B4F.

Transfer to the North Section, transfer to the Center.

After switches head north, in the intersection with the doors to your front and left, choose the left one and head up stairs.

You can kill a couple of enemies here if you still have any Hikoubaris left. Any extra levels, though not required, will help you against Metatron.
